About me
I entered the hunting and fishing travel business because I have a passion for the outdoors. Like many aspirant outdoorsmen, from an early age I have read every book and watched every television show I could find about hunting and fishing adventures. I dreamed that someday I would live those stories, and today I am building on that dream.
Beginning my life in the outdoors as a little boy by following my Granddad around the dove fields racing the dogs to retrieve downed birds and picking up treasured empty shotshell hulls, growing up hunting and fishing at every opportunity, to setting my sights on becoming and being an excellent hunting guide and booking agent as a career, I live for pursuing game and fish in what I truly consider to be the great outdoors. I love every aspect of the adventure, pre-trip research and preparation, the sunrises and sunsets over the pastures on the home ranch as well as in distant places, every small detail of bugs and birds, conservation and the balance of nature, the indescribable thrill of pursuing and at times respectfully harvesting my quarry, and finally the post-trip stories over a fine meal of well prepared game or fish.
As is likely clear from my description of myself, hunting and fishing is not just a hobby or a job for me, it is a passion. My desire is to take advantage of and share that passion by sending hunters and fishermen on their dream trips, wherever those dreams take them and for whatever species they wish to pursue. I consider this task a privilege and a responsibility that I do not take lightly. When another’s dreams of the chase and hard earned money is at stake, I place my reputation on the line in matching each outdoorsman with the most qualified outfitter who can most fulfill the wants and needs of each traveler.
My experience not only includes the knowledge gained from my personal hunting and fishing adventures, but also many applicable lessons learned from working as a hunting guide, ranch hand, hunting retail sales associate, soldier in the US Army, and youth pastor. This broad range of experience gives me confidence that I understand the wants and needs of outdoor travelers and am capable of providing the best possible hunting and fishing adventures for my clients.
Along with all of these qualifications, I believe my most significant ability is sharing my knowledge, skills, experience, and passion for hunting and fishing with others.
